MTBO event Miry Cup, June 22-23, 2007 Võru-Kubija, Vana-Nursi
Friday June 22 – short distance, first start 21.00 Saturday June 23 – classic distance, first start 10.00,
Classes H21, H40, H50, H16, H18, D21, D40, D16, D18 Some classes may be merged in case of too few pre-registered competitors.
Courses and terrain
Competition centre Võru-Kubija laululava (singing ground)
Short distance – map 1:5000 h2,5m size A4, H21 change of map. MTBO mapping and courses are done by Tõnis Erm. Winners estimated time in H21 30min, in other classes 20min. Competitors are passing through public control. Terrain is nearby competition centre, mainly pine forest with good visibility and lot of paths and tracks with good rideability. Mainly flat, max height difference 20m. Classic distance – map 1:15000 h2,5m, size A3, 80% fresh MTBO mapping and course planning done by Tõnis Erm. Winners estimated time in H21 1h20min, other classes up to 1h. There is mass start for all classes together; butterfly forking method is in use. Terrain is military playground, former tankodrome, where on sand-based roads very high cycling speeds are possible. Speeds are relatively high also outside the tracks, because of type of forest. Average density of road network.
Entry and fees Entry deadline is 18.6.2007 http://www.sportnet.ee/ivk/. Entry fees for both days are H21 300 kr., D21 and HD40-50 200 kr., others 150 kr. Late entrys for 1,5x fee only in case of vacancies.

Results and Prizes Results will be calculated by overall time of two days. Winners in all categories will be awarded with Miry mapboards, souvenires for II and IIIrd place owners.
